The car is not in its designated spot upon your arrival.
Call SCC at 1-639-471-8966 to see if the car has been parked nearby, or notify us of the car’s absence.
You may either cancel the reservation at no charge, switch the booking to another vehicle, or take a taxi.
Email your taxi receipts to scc.coordinator@gmail.com or mail them to us.
Someone is parked in the parking spot upon your return.
Park somewhere nearby (preferably not at a meter to avoid parking tickets).
Call SCC at 1-639-471-8966 to let us know where the car is.
The car is not driveable or you notice damage.
Call SCC at 1-639-471-8966 to notify us of the problem and receive further instructions.
If applicable, take a picture of the damage and email it to SCC with a note including the date and time you found the damage.
You may either cancel the reservation at no charge, switch the booking to another vehicle, or take a taxi, with reimbursement from SCC.
The car is low on battery life and/or not plugged in.
Call SCC at 1-639-471-8966 to notify us of the problem.
If you can, allow the vehicle to charge. The dash will give an approximate amount of km left. If you know how far you will be driving, you can use this as a gauge.
You may either cancel the reservation at no charge, switch the booking to another vehicle, or take a taxi with reimbursement from SCC. Email your receipts to SCC.
The car is low on gas.
If the car is low on gas you may fill it up and submit your receipts to SCC.
Include your member number and odometer reading on the receipt and email or mail to SCC.
The car is dirty.
If you caused the mess (interior) clean it up before ending your booking to avoid our cleaning fine.
If you found a mess (interior) clean it up and/or notify SCC by email or phone.
If you vacuum the interior and/or take the car to a car wash, submit your receipts to SCC by email or post.
You are in an accident.
Call SCC to inform us of the accident at 1-639-471-8966. You may only continue driving the vehicle with the express permission of SCC.
Gather necessary data by completing the SGI Collision Report Form (in glovebox) and submit to SCC and SGI as soon as possible.
Report the collision or damage to SGI by calling 1-800-667-8710.
In addition, you must report the collision to the police by calling 911 (for emergencies) or 1-306-975-8300 (for non-emergencies) if any of the following circumstances apply:
the collision results in injury or death. If there are injuries, you must also report the collision to one of SGI’s injury claims offices
it was a hit and run
a driver is impaired
any of the vehicles involved have to be towed from the scene
the collision involves a vehicle that does not have a valid licence plate or is an out-of-province vehicle
